Drift2 Hosting's Servers

• Dell - As of right now we use only powerful dell Power Edge server for all our server needs.  We like the quality of Dell and we will only use servers that have the same quality of Dell or greater. www.dell.com  
• Intel Xeon - We use dual Intel Xeon processors or greater in all our servers.  Xeon is great for performance that adapts to your application demands, intelligently scales energy use per performance demands. www.intel.com  
• Raid 5 or 10 - Redundancy of hard drives. If a drive fails then other drives take over. Raid 5 combines three or more disks in a way that protects data against loss of any one disk; the storage capacity of the array is reduced by one disk. More Info
• CentOS 5.2 - is an Enterprise-class Linux Distribution derived from sources freely provided to the public by a prominent North American Enterprise Linux vendor.  CentOS conforms fully to the upstream vendors redistribution policy and aims to be 100% binary compatible www.centos.org
• R1Soft - All our servers use R1Soft Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software. Customer data will be protected with data backup processes. Hourly backups, retained for 24 hours on databases, and for all other data and databases Drift2 will also run daily backups, retained for 14 days.
